Aboutis an award winning (ANUBIS AWARD for INNOVATION 2007) web based business directory and marketing opportunity for the 21st Century. The ethos of the site was to develop a tool which gave both local and national businesses the opportunity to effectively communicate with their current target customers and entice new ones. My Magical City uses a 3D game like city which is split up into all the sectors you would expect to find from a traditional business directory. MMC offers free profiles for businesses, these profiles are used similarly to social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace. Businesses can upload relevant contact details - but unlike the majority of directories (web and print) they can upload lots of text regarding their products, sales, special offers etc. Businesses can also upload pictures, images and logos to help promote themselves. And... ALL THIS IS FREE! My Magical City offers a unique and extremely effective way to advertise your business and communicate with your customers and target audience. My Magical City has several interactive features which combine to make it much much more than a business directory. Apart from its excellent unique navigation tool, it also boasts reviews, games and sponsored advertising opportunities.
About the DesignerMy Magical City was designed and developed by Chris Dykes. Chris is a Doncaster born designer who's educational background is in Product Design and 3D products. Chris took on the challenge to develop a 3D on-line marketing tool whilst studying for his MA in Product Design Innovation Management at Nottingham Trent University (2007). Winning the Anubis Award gave Chris the capital to get a professional web deveoper on board and www.mymagicalcity.co.uk officially launched in Nottingham in December 2007 and is growing week by week as forward thinking businesses sign up. The unique design of My Magical City means ensures that it will become a more and more interactive and successful advertising tool as it matures
Prices from 1st December 2007 Standard Listing = FREE - (1000 words, 4 images, logo and all relevant contact information). Sponsored link (billboard) £30 per month - (all billboards are purchased seperately. Businesses are limited to a maximum of 3 billboards in each city. Billboards can only be purchased if the company already has a free standard listing). |
